This workshop is designed for beginners and intermediate artists who want to master the fundamentals of oil paint, from brush handling and color mixing to creating rich, expressive compositions. What You Will Learn

In this foundational course, you will gain confidence in:

• Materials Mastery: Understanding the use of brushes, mediums (like solvents and oils), and how to properly care for your tools.

• Color Theory: Mixing vibrant, accurate colors and understanding value (light and dark) to create form and depth.

• Layering Techniques: Working with thin washes, building opaque layers, and understanding drying times.

• Studio Practice: Establishing a sustainable and safe studio routine within the supportive environment of a working artist collective.
